Some Things...

There seem to be some things I can't relate into words for my blog.

I am almost giving up on taking sunset pictures because neither my phone nor my camera seem to be able to capture the absolutely amazing excitement I feel when I watch a sunset progress across the horizon at the end of a day.

When I left L-town and followed the highway past Wagontire, and again when I left Joseph, heading toward Lewiston, I followed the most amazing sunsets.  The shades of blues, purple-blues and pinkish-oranges are unexplainable.  I was exhilarated by the sight of them.  I almost felt like God was painting them just for me because He knew I would enjoy them so much. :)

When I left out of Enterprise and was taking Hwy 3 North, I was warned about how curvy the road would be and that you go down and then you go back up.  It must have been the time of day, the sun already behind the hills, and the feel of the warm air... it was the most wonderful drive for me!  There were no cars in front or behind me, so I took the curves at a leisurely pace, in awe of the engineering marvel the road was.  At the bottom, I crossed the Grand Ronde River and a small town, then started up again.  I can't come up with words to explain the butterflies in my stomach or the absolute Joy I felt meandering through that canyon.  I was totally blown away by the feelings I was experiencing by all of it.

I thought I had one more picture of the winding road, but maybe my camera battery went dead at that time.  Guess it is just something I will have to remember for myself.
