On the way to Corvallis.... again...

I managed to get everything from the smaller storage into the larger storage, 10x12.  Except for things I threw away, and what I packed in the trailer to take with me and what is in storage in Arizona.

I sent this pic to my sons and texted, "You better pray that I don't die.  And I better pray that there aren't any earthquakes in the area because if anything falls against the roll-up door, I may never be able to open it again!"

I also posted this pic on Facebook and friends commented, "My first thought? "Awesome packing job!" and "Efficient use of space!"   lol

So, all packed, and off to Corvallis, again!

Can you believe it has been almost 7,000 miles since I got the engine in the van?  Wow.  And over 5,000 since I started this leg of adventuring in the van.  It's been a wild ride, hasn't it?

I left in the afternoon and it was a beautiful day.  The smells and colors of fall approaching.  I stopped in Oakridge on Hwy 58 at A&W for some food... A Foot Long Coney Dog and a Root Beer Float...

Across the street I saw this:  I LOVE Americana.  Wonder what the story is on how this began?  I asked a couple people... at A&W and when I got gas, but no one knew who exactly lived there.

Take a closer look, on the eve of the garage...

The drive over the pass was a bit rainy but it was still nice...

Here is a map of my travels in the past 5 months...

I crashed at my son's new place with his 5 other roommates for a couple days.  Dropped off the couch, a table and some chairs.  Got a few things to decorate his bathroom, and got a fuel flush for him when I took his car to the Jiffy Lube for an overdue oil change.  He is so spoiled.

The couch is getting a continued life in the garage for the boys.  they will have it all arranged next time I visit with the TV set up to play games on, and the bbq out of the way.

Then I took him to Local Boyz Hawaiian Cafe for his birthday!  His girlfriend came also and we had a yummy dinner!  Sure wish it was on the beach in Maui though.  Ah well.

It was a nice visit and I am glad that I will be closer to his vicinity now.

:)
