Rainy for the Rhododendron Festival...

I was signed up for the Volkswalk this morning but as I was putting on my shoes and socks, it really started to rain.  I don't have a place to warm up and dry out if I really get soaked, so I bowed out and plan to drive around to the various sights.

It's still grey, but no rain, so going to check out the Jr. Parade that just started at Miller Park  :)

Well, I missed the parade, but was at the end, watching all the little kids run around.  It was crazy but I can see everyone had a really fun time.  I did get to see the car show, the flower show, the art show (which was more of a craft's fair) and the motorcycle show.  I passed on the carnival.

I guess I didn't realize that some motorcycles actually have chains from the motor to their back tire...

I also forgot to share that on Friday evening, while watching the beautiful sunset...

I met this really nice lady, C.  She is just finishing her 8 month journey of living in her car, and is about to move into a single apartment in Portland.  She is an artist and says she will miss the sound of the ocean.
